this pic was taken in march of 2015, just 4 months after her accident. looking good, bailey!
in going through some old pix of bailey, i landed on this one, from march 2013, that made me smile. i hope it makes you smile too.
hay, hey look, it's 2017 all over again! this photo was taken exactly 4 years ago in temecula. we used to love day-tripping there. as soon as we can venture out of our neighborhood again, i think this is where i want to go.
this picture was taken in march of 2020, just before we were quarantined because of covid. bailey loved to go out to all the dog-friendly stores. now the only place she goes is to the doctor. definitely not as fun as shopping.
this picture was taken in 2015, only 3 months after bailey's near fatal fall. you'd never know it to look at this face that she had just cracked her skull open. she was still on the mend but was making fantastic progress. of course she didn't come out of it unscathed. 6 1/2 years later, she still has seizures but all things considered, she's doing great. she is our little miracle.
three cheers for the red, white & blue... and our new administration. congrats to president biden and vice-president harris!
this week i am revisiting a pic of little bailey taken a decade ago. this was just a three months after we rescued her. poor little thing. who knows what her life was like before we found her. it still breaks my heart to think about it. because of the condition we found her in, it was obvious she wasn't properly cared for. but when she became a part of our family, she turned into the princess she was always meant to be.
for this throwback thursday post, we are going back to christmas 2016. bailey looks adorable as ever in her christmas sweater and santa hat. and to add adorable on top of adorable, she is showing a little raspberry! bailey, can you be any cuter?
remembering back to when we would go yarn shopping at michaels. ahh, those were the days. now i just order everything online, which isn't as fun as actually seeing the colors in person. not to mention not being able to touch them! picking yarn is all about texture. bailey is counting the days to when life gets back to normal and we can go shopping again.
aww, look at little bailey 11 months after we rescued her. as you can see, she's loved being bundled between blankies from the very beginning.
bailey was sitting pretty, in 2018, with a little help from daddy. she had a little trouble keeping her balance on the sofa cushion, so her daddy jumped in and lent a helping hand. thanks hon.
