bailey's treatments sure take a toll on her. she's always so pooped afterwards. it's quite an ordeal for a 3# doggie.
so going back to the mass that showed up on bailey's spleen in the x-ray, doc is concerned about it because he's not sure what it is. yesterday he brought up exploratory surgery. he took more blood and should have it analyzed by today's appointment. hopefully that will shed some light on what might be going on.
she still hasn't eaten, except for the chicken broth that i squirt into her mouth. she gets little bursts of energy but for the most part, she just does a lot of sleeping.
it's terrible not knowing what's really going on and what the future might hold. this came on so suddenly. she was perfectly fine last week. it's so hard to keep a positive attitude about her condition. is her weight loss caused by the mystery mass? how long has the mass been growing in her? if she hadn't gotten pancreatitis, when would doc have found the mass? is the mass worse than her pancreatitis? should she go through exploratory surgery and can she even handle surgery at this point or is she too weak now? i wish i had the answers.
please keep my little girl in your prayers. thank you.
until we meet again my friends-
