a visit to the vet

bee is probably wondering what the heck kind of summer vacation is this! daughter #2 had made a vet appointment to have bee’s teeth cleaned & a pawdicure while she was here ...

and doc ended up having to extract 3 teeth. poor bee.

"he took my teeth and my toe nails too?!?"

when she woke from a nap, her lip was stuck on her teeth, so i got this shot. BOL

and when she corrected her lip problem, i got her signature look, with her little tongue sticking out.

i was pulling back bailey's lip to see her clean teeth and when i let go, her lip stayed stuck on her teeth.

good news / bad news

what has gotten bailey feeling, and looking, so out of sorts?
yesterday, she had the dreaded dental visit.

good news is she now has clean teeth.
bad news is they had to pull 2, as they were already loose!

this is how she was ever since we got home. she only woke up to eat and then right back to sleep. poor little baby. hopefully she will feel better today and be back to her normal sweetie pie self.

what looks like an evil demon has taken over my little bailey's soul, is really just a moment caught during play time.

hubby was dangling her toy above her head and she was just about to jump for it.

she got it!

in the end, she thought the whole thing was very funny.

february was national pet dental health month so bailey wanted to show off her pearly whites before the month was completely gone.

teeth cleaning day

bailey's breath was beginning to get a little stinky so i scheduled a vet visit for a teeth cleaning.

"my vet rocks!"

they ended up extracting a front tooth and this monster premolar! i didn't know her tiny little mouth could have such a big tooth!

poor baby slept all the way home (a 45 minute drive but our vet is worth it). this is her drowsy face.

this is how she spent the rest of the day.

now her mouth is kissably fresh and i don't have to hold my breath when i kiss her anymore :)

mischief monday: battle of the big mouths + a memorial day salute

looks like the girls are trying to see who has the bigger bite :)

let us not forget that not all soldiers are human. our k9 troops have also given their lives for our country. we should honor their memory on this day of remembrance as well.
