my baby girl, aka daughter #2, got married saturday and bailey not only attended the wedding, i carried her the aisle. the wedding attire was formal, so she wore a gorgeous handmade dress.
it was a white lace corset style dress with a tulle skirt accented with silver glitter. she was gorgeous.
mid way through the wedding bailey already pooped and by the end of the evening, she was done.
the last time bee visited, it was because i was throwing a bridal shower for daughter #2. and now she is back because the wedding is saturday! i can hardly believe it. it seems like just yesterday, i was telling y'all that she was engaged, but it's actually been a year! where does the time go?
bee is oblivious to what the next few days will hold. she is just happy to be back in california.
at first glance, you might not even notice bailey amongst the disaster we found in homegoods yesterday. there were toys strewn everywhere. i've never seen it this bad. and it wasn't just the pet department. it was the whole store! people, if you drop something, pick it up! don't just leave it on the floor. and parents, if your children are playing in the store and making a mess, teach them how to behave in public. this is a store, not a playground.
sorry for the rant, i just don't understand how people can be so messy. ugh.
can you believe that is actually a word? it's quite a mouthful. paraskevidekatriaphobia is the fear of friday the 13th. not to be confused with triskaidekaphobia, which is a fear of the number 13.
"huh?"
fun fact: did you know the 13th falls on a friday only twice this year? the next friday the 13th is in july.
how was your weekend? we had perfect gardening weather yesterday, so we spent the day in the backyard. as you can see our honeysuckle has gotten completely out of control. trimming this beast just seems to motivate it to grow even bigger.
[did you notice our little visitor on the wall? he is the neighborhood cat that has been snooping around our property lately.]
of course bailey was right there rooting us on and making sure the project was done properly and in a timely manner.
