furry friend friday

this cutie was on my patio yesterday. we have a few squirrely friends that come on a regular basis for walnuts. they've got me wrapped around their little paws. if they don't see me outside when they come, they will bark and bark until i hear them. why? because they know if they stay there barking, i will come out with nuts. BOL

follow-up

between all of my doctor visits (for mri's, blood tests, and basically just trying to get a diagnosis) and bailey's vet visits, i just haven't been up to blogging but it's been a week and i don't want anyone to be worried about her. (i'm so off my game, i am joining the wordless wednesday blog hop on thursday! ugh.)

now that her heartbeat is back to normal, we can work on her congestion. last week her vet had given us two different nose drops and they've really done the job! this week when we went back for another follow up, we had good news to share with him. her wheezing and congestion has disappeared and her sneezing has really slowed down. (i hope my next doctor visit has good news for me too.)

we have another vet appointment next month so doc can look in her throat (he wants to look at her tonsils) and if she needs it, she will also get her teeth cleaned.

continental polar air mass

we are not enjoying this continental polar air mass we've been living through the past few days at all. they are saying saturday might be in the 70s but then there's a chance of rain on sunday. when will it all end! we are so ready for spring.
