our miracle girl #tbt

this picture was taken in 2015, only 3 months after bailey's near fatal fall. you'd never know it to look at this face that she had just cracked her skull open. she was still on the mend but was making fantastic progress. of course she didn't come out of it unscathed. 6 1/2 years later, she still has seizures but all things considered, she's doing great. she is our little miracle.

with our weather getting so chilly, i guess it's time to pull out our winter wardrobe and add another blanket (or two) on our bed. but dressing a little warmer is not just a people thing. no, no. at casa chihuahua, it's a dog thing too. bailey stays cozy warm by wearing fleece. it's like wearing a blanket!

today bailey is sharing a tiny raspberry. sometimes her raz is super-sized, sometimes it's barely peeking out and on the rare occasion it's hanging out the side! whichever way she chooses to share it, it's one of her most endearing features and i just can't get enough of it.
