our miracle girl #tbt

this picture was taken in 2015, only 3 months after bailey's near fatal fall. you'd never know it to look at this face that she had just cracked her skull open. she was still on the mend but was making fantastic progress. of course she didn't come out of it unscathed. 6 1/2 years later, she still has seizures but all things considered, she's doing great. she is our little miracle.

bailey may be tiny but she's mighty! can you believe it's been 3 years since her accident?

to look at her, you'd never know what she's been through or the difficulties she's had to overcome. she had a very steep mountain to climb, but she did it. bailey is the little engine that could.

i have to admit that i was not expecting bailey to "dance" during our photo shoot. she totally took me by surprise.

the miracle continues

one year ago bailey couldn't even stand up and look at her now. she is playing with aoife! it only lasted a few minutes, but it happened, and that's all that matters. life is good at casa chihuahua.

here we come a-caroling among the leaves so green

nothing says christmas like listening to christmas carolers. for bailey's first outing since her accident, we went to see the desert carolers perform. listening to carolers is a sure fire way to get into the christmas spirit.

a month ago we didn't know if she would even pull through or if she did, what kind of damage would we be living with and look at her now. she's hobnobbing with carolers! she is our very own little christmas miracle.
