this picture of bailey is from 2012, just 2 years after we found her. she was so thankful to be off the streets and into a home filled with love. the world has changed quite a bit since then but what hasn't changed is our home is still filled with love and bailey is still our little princess.
look who came down to enjoy some of our southern california sunshine. awww, it's bee!
back it 2011 bailey found herself up a tree without a ladder. actually, hubby put her there, but not to worry, he is holding her from behind so she doesn't fall.
how excited was bailey to go out this past weekend? just take a look at her face! i think that about sums it up.
bailey has been so cold, she needs 3 afghans and a sweater to stay warm! if you can believe the weather report, we're gonna hit 80 degrees by next week but i'm not gonna tell her just in case it doesn't happen. i wouldn't want to get her hopes up, just to disappoint her if our temps stay in the 60s.
remembering back to when we would go yarn shopping at michaels. ahh, those were the days. now i just order everything online, which isn't as fun as actually seeing the colors in person. not to mention not being able to touch them! picking yarn is all about texture. bailey is counting the days to when life gets back to normal and we can go shopping again.
patriotic bailey (of 2011) honors my dad (navy, korean war), my father-in-law (army, wwii) and all those in our military, past and present. thank you for your service.
with our weather getting so chilly, i guess it's time to pull out our winter wardrobe and add another blanket (or two) on our bed. but dressing a little warmer is not just a people thing. no, no. at casa chihuahua, it's a dog thing too. bailey stays cozy warm by wearing fleece. it's like wearing a blanket!
our weather has drastically changed. two weeks ago we had the beginnings of fall but this weekend, it seemed like winter! brrr.
bailey, looking pretty in pink, in 2011.
our mornings are beginning to feel a little more like fall, but if you ask bailey, it's a little more like the middle of winter! afghans and blankets keep her cozy until the day warms up.
it makes bailey happy to look out our living room window, but since she's only a few inches tall, the only way she can see out is to sit on the back of our sofa.
