dreamland

little bailey is no different from a little baby. whenever she sits on our patio swing, she falls right to sleep. the motion, the little squeak it makes as it rocks back and forth and of course her daddy by her side, all help to send her off to dreamland.

oh how we love our sunday mornings. yesterday, because the smoke from all the wild fires is clearing from our skies, we were able to enjoy our morning coffee out on our patio. bailey, as usual, is snugged up against her daddy, sound asleep on the swing.

yesterday morning bailey took a catnap out on the patio. it was still a little cool from the night before, so she needed her afghan... wait, is it possible for a doggie to take a catnap? maybe i should say she was catching some z's on the patio. BOL

i was walking passed my patio window yesterday and looked out to see a visitor sprawled on my adirondack chair! do you see him?

this guy comes by nearly everyday for walnuts. and he's so friendly, he takes them right from our hand! it was so hot yesterday, and it's only gonna get hotter, he came to relax in the shade of our patio. because he's here so often, we felt we should give him a name, so we call him murphy.

"hey! you're not gonna post your blog without me, are you?"
