spring forward (daylight saving time)

last night, or should i say this morning, we lost an hour of sleep. yep, it's that time again. the second weekend of march is here again. daylight saving time began at 2am and while i will enjoy more daylight hours, i do not enjoy losing sleep. BOL.

life is better with a dog

i have lived with a dog and i have lived without a dog, and what i know to be true is, life is definitely better with a dog.

it's a jungle out there!

the lawn in our backyard has gone crazy wild! it's as if someone sprinkled it with magic fairy dust. this is the longest it's ever been. then to make matters worse, our gardeners got rained out last friday. hubby measured it and in some places it's as long as 14"!

is that a cheetah in my jungle?

oh, it's bailey.

poor little bailey has had a terrible time trying to maneuver herself through the jungle. thank goodness tomorrow is friday and there is no rain in the forecast, so the gardeners can clear away this jungle once and for all!

taking care of business

we had sooo much (much needed) rain over the weekend, it was nearly impossible for bailey to go out and do her "business" without getting absolutely drenched. hubby had the brilliant idea of setting up a tent so she can have a dry spot. see that little pink spot under the canopy? that's bailey looking for just the right spot to take care of business.

aoife (pronounced EE-fuh) has been visiting for the past few days and bailey thought it would be fun to have a pajama party over the weekend. could you say no to these faces? ya, neither could i.

bailey wanted to show off her balancing abilities by balancing a toy on her head.

then she thought it would be funny to pile toys on top of aoife. good thing aoife is such a good sport!

after their chihuahua mischief was over, it was off to chihuahua dreamland. Zzzzzzz
