giant lamb chop returns

during the christmas festivities, i'm not sure what happened, but all of a sudden giant lamb chop attacked bailey!

bailey, little though she may be, attacked right back!

and in the end, just as david fought goliath, little bailey took on giant lamb chop and won!

on a lighter note, it was so nice to have aoife back home, even if it was only for a couple of days. (i think giant lamb chop learned her lesson with bailey and didn't give aoife any trouble)

the elf on the shelf - and bailey

if you know the story of the elf on the shelf, then you know that every morning you will find them in a different place. i had told bailey that wherever we found them, that's where we would take a picture. we made a game out of it and every morning bailey had so much fun running from room to room looking for them. of course she knew not to touch them or they would lose their magic, so she was really careful around them.

well, another christmas has come and gone (sad face) but we had a lovely day surrounded by family (happy face). it's rare that my parents and my daughters are all together under the same roof, at the same time, but that is exactly what happened this year - and it was wonderful. our home was full of love and laughter, good food and chihuahuas! what more could a person ask for.
i hope your christmas was as merry and bright as ours was.

gift exchange unboxing

can you believe the size of this box? it is from our gift exchange buddy, coccolino, a mini pig living in new york. we've never received a gift from a pig before, but i must say, pigs are very good gifters.

in the giant box, we found a giant bag!

in the bag, we found lots of goodies! coccolino's mom is very crafty and made the bed and a couple of "bailey wipes." yes, you read that right. she actually made the bed!

i'm pretty sure this is supposed to be a collar, but bailey is so tiny, she can wear it as a skirt! BOL

el nutcracker mexicano

i collect steinbach nutcrackers and every year i try to add a new one to my collection. this year i found one that reminded me of bailey. olé!

bailey, a shredding machine?

bailey was a little shredding machine yesterday. she found a paper towel and she shred it to pieces. she thought it was the best toy ever. she had so much fun shredding it, and i had so much fun watching her, that i just might will probably drop them for her from time to time.
