product review: kaytee basic blend wild bird food #ChewyInfluencer

g’day friends. we are mixing it up a bit with today's product review.

"ooh, i love when a box from chewy arrives!"

this month we are reviewing bird food! kaytee basic blend wild bird food, to be exact, and chewy was kind enough to send me a 20 pound bag for my backyard feeder. sorry, bailey.

"BIRD FOOD!?! i don’t eat bird food!"

our backyard is always filled with an assortment of sparrows, goldfinches, chickadees, towhees, doves, scruff jays... well, you get the idea.

it looks like it has passed the bird test. i filled the feeder late morning, and a few rainy hours later, it needs a refill.

kermit thinks it isn’t easy being green but it isn’t easy being a little chihuahua in this cold weather either. poor little bailey always has to be wrapped up in one thing or another.

sometimes bailey gets a little antsy in the basket so to keep her from getting too bored, she may or may not, test out the cat furniture.

yesterday, we spent the entire day inside because it rained ALL day.

bailey didn’t seem to mind too much though, because she was cozy warm on her mexican blanket in front of the fireplace.

i cherish moments like this with my little bailey and i am grateful for every second that i am allowed to be her mommy.

c-c-cold

the country seems to be in a deep freeze and so cal is no exception. it is c-c-cold and bailey is so over it. she spends most of her day, hiding underneath her afghan.

every now and then she pops out to see if the day has warmed up yet, but when she sees it’s still cold, she goes right go back under.

"i’m a chihuahua. i need me some sunshine."

doesn’t bailey look like she’s such a peaceful sleep? behind the still photo, is quite a different story.

you’ll need your sound on for this one because i caught her in a dream. she starts off suckling then towards the end she starts snoring. dream on, bailey.

bailey wants everyone to STOP shopping and start adopting. the next time you are in a pet store looking to buy a fur baby, STOP and remember what bailey said:

saturday hubby took a rainday, so we decided to surprise bailey with homemade waffles!

hey bailey, want a waffle?

of course she said yes, so i cut up a section into bite size pieces for her,

and she gobbled it up, pronto.

the new medication bailey is on has a side effect...
it makes her hungry... very hungry.
