aoife is so much fun to have around. you can stick her pretty much anywhere and she'll stay perfectly still for a picture. i've done it before with cinder blocks and now with a wheelbarrow ...

and a rock.

silly bailey

bailey had a bit of a chill yesterday, so i put her to bed and covered her with a blankie. when she got up, she didn't leave her blankie in her bed.

nope, she brought it with her. silly bailey.

over the weekend i did quite a bit of gardening and bailey was right there by my side, lending a paw.

one of my projects was to clear out the overgrown ground cover that was here ... (sorry, i forgot to take the before picture)

and plant these flowers there.

bailey approved of course.

after i got the easter picture i wanted, and the bunny ears came off, bailey went to town in the easter grass. she thought it was so much fun.

and of course when aoife saw how much fun bailey was having, she just had to join in.

well i had to do it. i had to get bunny ears for bailey. adorable? i think so.

bailey on the other hand, wasn't too pleased with the idea of wearing ears. this is what she had to say about it.

there was a crooked, um, dog?

bailey has a little trouble balancing. when she sits up in the beg position, she looks like this:

sometimes she can sit straight, but usually she is a bit, um, crooked. BOL
are there any other wonky doggies out there?

feed me

i think our little piggy aoife is missing the "i'm full" gene. she's always hungry. when i put her bowl down, she inhales it in a matter of minutes, then she goes to stand by bailey to see if she can steal anything off of her plate. they always need supervision at mealtime because aoife is a food thief and she will eat bailey's food if left unattended.

we've been having some really lovely weather lately and bailey has been loving every minute of it.

bailey can't hold her licker

i have something to confess... bailey can't hold her licker.
there, i said it. she's had this problem ever since we rescued her. i did some research and discovered that there are 1000's & 1000's of dogs with the same affliction. it does not discriminate and affects pure bred dogs as well as mixed breed mutts. there is no known cure, so it is recommended that you accept it rather than try to resist it.

bailey was issued a license to legalize her licker.

does your dog have a problem with his/her licker too?

aoife and mr bubble

aoife loves her new mr bubble toy.

when you squeeze him, he makes a bubbly sound instead of a squeak.

at first she didn't know what to think of him but now she loves him.

and one more mischievous picture just for fun. my camera just happened to be right at aoife's face when she yawned. i just had to snap it! BOL
