california winter

bee is visiting from brooklyn (where it's currently freezing, by the way) so she is totally loving our 80° california weather.

the seasons, they are a-changin'

winter is coming and bailey isn't liking one bit. she spends most of her day underneath her afghan and only comes out when absolutely necessary.

brooklyn in da house

bee (& daughter #2) have come to visit for the holidays! when they left new york it was snowing, so even though the last couple of days have been a little cool, at least we have some sunshine!

two of bailey's favorite things are car rides and sunshine. so when they occur at the same time, she's in heaven.

sunday morning

sunday is bailey's favorite day. why you ask? because it's the only day hubby is home when bailey wakes up. every sunday morning, you can find bailey snug as a bug, wrapped up in a blankie, in daddy's arms.

if you don't think bailey looks like her normal bright-eyed self, you are right.

she had just spent 5 1/2 hours at the vets for a dental cleaning.

poor baby was so tired, she slept all the way home, and all afternoon, and all night.

unfortunately, doc found two loose teeth that had to be removed. hopefully she'll be feeling better today.

windy days

the last couple of days have been really windy. i mean REALLY windy and it's putting bailey a little on edge. things are flying around outside, and that makes scary noises. i have the music on a little louder than usual and that seems to be helping but every now and then she'll still hear something. so if you need her for anything, you can find her hiding in a blanket.

bailey doesn't play with her toys,

she uses them as pillows.

chilly dog

hubby and i usually have our sunday morning coffee at home but yesterday we decided to go out for our caffeine fix. we knew there was going to be a chill in the air, so we brought along bailey's little blankie.

little by little the sun started to warm the morning,

and bailey began to emerge.

after about an hour, bailey was no longer a chilly dog,

we were caffeinated and we were all ready to take on the day.

lassie's star

today we are flashing back to 2012 when bailey found lassie's star on the hollywood walk of fame. it was a very exciting day for her so of course she needed a selfie with it. it was a day she'll never forget.
