when bailey wasn't in the mood to pose for this bokeh post, i had to come up with a plan b. elfie, my elf on the shelf, offered to be bailey's stand-in. i quickly agreed and got this shot in one take. she's very photogenic, don't you think?

since i had bailey in her jammies, and she looked so cute, i tried again a little while later. this time she was cooperative.

merry christmas from our doghouse to yours

as you can well imagine, i really haven't had time for our normal christmas photo shoot, so i am recycling a picture from last year.

to all our friends new and old, we couldn't have gotten through the past few weeks without all of your love, prayers & POTP. we love you all and wish each of you a very blessed christmas.

the elf on the shelf - and bailey

if you know the story of the elf on the shelf, then you know that every morning you will find them in a different place. i had told bailey that wherever we found them, that's where we would take a picture. we made a game out of it and every morning bailey had so much fun running from room to room looking for them. of course she knew not to touch them or they would lose their magic, so she was really careful around them.
