power outage

i usually write my blog at night when the day is over, hubby has gone to bed and it's just me and bailey. but yesterday we had a power outage at 4.30pm that left us without power all night. i am writing this post on my phone, which is nearly out of battery life. the photos i was going to post are stuck in my laptop so i took these with my phone, lit by a flashlight. it was the best i could do. sorry for the terrible quality.

i have a slew of tea lights and our fireplace on for light and a battery powered radio for music. (i hate silence.) a power outage is bad enough during the day, but a power outage at night is the worst.
