look at my new crochet buddy. it's bee! our sunday mornings usually look something like this. i stay in my pjs a little later, hubby and i have morning coffee together with doggies by our side and sometime i even get in a little morning crochet time. i love our peaceful sunday mornings.

is bailey behind bars? no, technically, i'm the one behind the bars. when bee is visiting, i put the doggie gate up at the hallway so she doesn't wander my entire house. the gate separates the main living area, where we spend most of our time, from the rest of our house. i went down the hall to put something in our office and when i came back bailey was at the gate waiting for me to return. she looked too cute not to take her pic.

bee has lived in chilly san francisco her entire life. now that she's moved to "sunny" southern california, she's seen nothing but rain and more rain. poor little girl can't catch a break. awww, bee. winter will be over soon, then you can enjoy our wonderful weather.

NY - SF - LA

bee's back in town and guess what? she's not just here for a visit, she's here to stay! her parents (daughter #2 and her hubby) have relocated to los angeles (yay) so she'll be staying with us while they get some work done on their home. she's been a new york dog, a san francisco dog and now she's an la dog! welcome to so cal, bee!

well bee has gone back home to san francisco. (sad face.) she loves to come down to visit but it looks like she's just as happy to be back home. doesn't she look so comfy cozy? this was bailey's orange bed that bee traded her gray bed for. i guess it was kinda big for bailey, but it was orange so i had to get it. the size is way better suited for bee.

aww, look at the doggies. these pups are pooped. we didn't do anything out of the ordinary yesterday so i don't really know why they're so tired. maybe the heat got to them? i dunno but they sure look cute passed out together.

the saga of the gray bed

this bed has quite the story. i bought it for bee because she loved bailey's bed so much. i found her the same bed, a serta orthopedic, and took it up to her on my last trip. the thing is, she never used it. even though, as i said, it's the exact same bed as bailey's. so daughter #2 and i decided, let's just swap beds. we know she likes bailey's bed. she uses it here all the time. (don't worry, bailey said it was ok.) so she brought bee's bed down, and look, now she likes it. as for the bed she took from bailey, that she loved so much? she only uses it sporadically. she's such a twerp.

when bee was here for a visit a couple of weeks ago, the girls enjoyed a little sunshine out back. not too much though, just enough to warm their little bones. BOL, look at all those little pointed ears! they're so cute.

daughter #2 sent another pic of bee! they're taking a road trip from san francisco down to visit us in so cal and stopped off in carmel-by-the-sea, for one of bee's potty breaks, and to take in the beautiful ocean view.
