well, bee is officially a resident of los angeles... and she's lovin' it. she has her own backyard and lots of sunshine! i don't think she'll be missing san francisco anytime soon. BOL

no pictures

have you ever gone somewhere and got so distracted that you forgot to photograph your experience there? ya, that was me yesterday. we spent the afternoon at historic olvera street, in los angeles and i only took one picture. i hadn't been there in years and it was so much fun to see that nothing had changed, that i totally forgot to take pictures. i realized this on our way to the car, so i snapped a quick one at the last minute. my bad.

on our way to see daughter #1, we just happen to be in the vicinity of frosted cupcakery! well we couldn't be so close and not stop in for some guilty pleasures.

hubby likes chocolate/coconut, my favorite is lemon and the pupcake is for bailey! i won't show how we devoured our cupcakes, but i will share bailey. i could barely get one shot in before she went in for the kill!

monday mischief: lap dogs

yesterday was daughter #1's birthday so we met her at fred 62 in the los feliz area of los angeles for breakfast. after eating their scrambled eggs, both doggies wanted hubby's lap. check little bailey's face, she's not too happy about having to share lap space.

frosted cupcakery

daughter #2 introduced me to frosted cupcakery some time ago. i think they are the best cupcakery in los angeles, paws hands down... & it appears bailey agrees. they make pupcakes for the doggies, but this cupcake is mine!

breakfast with bailey at basix cafe

over the weekend we met up with daughter #1 and went to the dog-friendly basix cafe in west hollywood for breakfast. we've driven by several times and finally we dropped in for a meal. i ordered the brioche french toast topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar (which i shared with my daughter) and bailey ordered a scrambled egg. i'm so glad we finally tried this place out. it was quite delicious and the portions were huge. bailey behaved quite well and was rewarded with her favorite treat, a chik 'n rice ball.

bailey is being a good girl while we enjoy a cup of coffee at paper or plastik cafe in los angeles.

yes, bailey loves la. there are so many dog boutiques and outdoor cafes, she is welcome wherever we go. the sun is usually shining so having a meal outdoors is fine with us; she loves the sun. los angeles is very dog friendly and bailey loves it!
