college football is back and this weekend usc took on stanford. bailey is dressed and ready to cheer on her trojans.

"oh no, an interception! i can't look."

our boys played a good game and pulled off a 42-24 victory.

daughter #2 and her fiancé both went to usc, so i surprised them with this bow for bee. i think she wears it quite well. fight on!

football weekend

what a football weekend we had. bailey roots for two teams, the denver broncos and the usc trojans, and they both played this weekend. sunday, bailey watched as the denver broncos crushed the oakland raiders.

then yesterday, the trojans and penn state would meet in the rose bowl. bailey eagerly awaited the game as she watched the rose parade go down colorado blvd, from the comfort of our living room of course.

what a game and what an ending! the score was tied at 49, with 5 seconds left in the game and usc had the ball. they decided to attempt a field goal. would they go into overtime or would they win the game? it would all be decided in the next few seconds. bailey nervously looked on as matt boermeester kicked the ball.

the kick was good and they won the game 52-49! fight on!

look who came for a long weekend visit. it's bee! (grand-dog #2!) i hadn't seen her since june so it was so nice to have her (& daughter #2 of course) here for a few days.
yes bee is a usc fan too and was so happy with their win over arizona state 41-20! fight on!

bailey had a busy weekend cheering on her favorite football teams. on saturday we watched the usc game. unfortunately the game did not end as bailey had hoped and she was quite upset about it. she was so upset that she wouldn't even look at the camera for her game day picture.

on sunday she cheered on the denver broncos. and even though cbs chose NOT to air the game in our area (#%$!#!!), she was still happy because they won.

the girls are still celebrating usc's big win over ucla 40-21!!!

they took down fresno state 52-13,

and last week they beat stanford 13-10!

UCLA 35 / USC 14

yesterday's ucla/usc game was a crushing loss for those of us who root for usc. bailey was cheering on the trojans but the bruins were at the top of their game and no amount of doggie cheer could help the poor trojans.
