ready for some football

football weekend

what a football weekend we had. bailey roots for two teams, the denver broncos and the usc trojans, and they both played this weekend. sunday, bailey watched as the denver broncos crushed the oakland raiders.

then yesterday, the trojans and penn state would meet in the rose bowl. bailey eagerly awaited the game as she watched the rose parade go down colorado blvd, from the comfort of our living room of course.

what a game and what an ending! the score was tied at 49, with 5 seconds left in the game and usc had the ball. they decided to attempt a field goal. would they go into overtime or would they win the game? it would all be decided in the next few seconds. bailey nervously looked on as matt boermeester kicked the ball.

the kick was good and they won the game 52-49! fight on!

bailey is working very hard on her balance. look what she did yesterday. she balanced on a football! it took a few tries, but she did it.
good job bailey!

this last picture is aimed directly at cbs, who carried the broncos/browns game, and the reason this post is a part of the monday mischief blog hop. lemme 'splain. at the end of regulation, the score was tied at 23. ooh, overtime. not! instead of airing the overtime game, cbs went right into the packers/chargers game! what?!? what about the game we were watching? i couldn't find the game online, and i had to find out via twitter who won! pretty lousy, cbs. the least you could have done was tell us where we could tune in, to catch the end of the game instead of just leaving us hanging. btw, the broncos won 26/23 (yay!) but we didn't see it (boo!).

ahh, college football. it's just begun but usc is already off to a great start.

they took down fresno state 52-13,

and last week they beat stanford 13-10!
