can you believe barbie is 57 years old today? on this day, in 1959, she made her debut at the international toy fair in new york.
i don't know how these dolls survived but these are my original barbies from my childhood. on the left is my twist & turn barbie and on the right is skooter (barbie's little sister's best friend). i don't know where my other barbies ended up but i'm glad i at least have these two.
thanks to blogpaws for hosting wordless wednesday blog hop.
until we meet again my friends-
finally someone at baileys eye level :) :)
ReplyDeleteI had a blonde one with blue eye shadow and a black and white striped one-piece - pretty oo la la for a four year old!! It is a mystery how they manage to be preserved.
ReplyDeleteMom loved Barbie. Yours are awesome. Careful she doesn't pet you Bailey
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
I bet Barbie is so thankful to have such a sweet friend in Bailey. I'm not so sure Barbie would want to hang out with Haley for too long, lol!
ReplyDeleteAt least Bailey likes them. My Bailey finds the dolls rather creepy.
ReplyDeleteThose dolls give me a whole new appreciation to your true size Bailey. I would be afraid for Jaxson to play with you. #toosweet
ReplyDeleteMy mom loves Barbie and has some of her old ones too. Hard to believe she is that old.
ReplyDeleteMy momma LUVS Barbie!
ReplyDeleteGreat pic of barbie w/bailey. The dolls look in perfect condition.
