winter

winter has arrived! sunny southern california is no longer sunny. yesterday we had rain, hail, thunder & lightening! and to think, just last week bailey was sunbathing on our patio! hubby took bailey outside to do her biz and came in like this.

he said that she got so cold, the only way to warm her up was to put her in his jacket. i just had to take pics to show y'all. BOL

bee is visiting from brooklyn (where it's currently freezing, by the way) so she is totally loving our 80° california weather.

winter is coming and bailey isn't liking one bit. she spends most of her day underneath her afghan and only comes out when absolutely necessary.

cold & wet

it's been very cold, and very wet, all week and bailey's had enough. if you need her, she'll be under her afghan, in front of the heater.

baby, it's cold outside

we had heavy bursts of rain, accompanied by cold wind, late last night and more is forecasted for today.

but bailey is not worried. she will be toasty warm in her new sweater... and probably under a blanket as well. BOL

i know this is not the typical winter shot but we live in southern california and this has been our weather the past few days. today will be high 70's and tomorrow should be low 80's.

with winter just around the corner and a chill in the air, it's time to crank on the heater and light the fireplace. though we don't care much for the colder weather, we do love to sit by the fire under a cozy blankie.

we have been having some really cold days lately! even aoife, with all her pudginess, is cold! i know there are some of you out there that love the cold but i have chihuahuas and they don't appreciate the cold snap that jack frost has let loose on so cal. my chi's are counting the days until mr sun once again unleashes his soothing rays.
