you know what they say, two heads are better than one. especially when it's these two chihuahua heads! aoife was bailey's bestest gal pal ever. it's hard to believe it's already been two and a half years since we lost her because it feels like yesterday. we miss her so much. we love you aoife.

this is bailey each 4th of july, and probably your dog too. fireworks terrify her. even though they are illegal in our city, people have been shooting them off for the past few weeks. sometimes bailey hears them, sometimes she doesn't. tomorrow i will have the tv on loud and she will be wearing her thundershirt, to help calm her. hopefully, with her slight hearing loss, she won't hear what's going on outside and she'll have a peaceful night. fingers crossed. do the fireworks bother your pets? what do you do for them?

yesterday facebook reminded me what bailey (and i) looked like back in 2011. at this point, we had only had her 10 months and at only 3 pounds she was small enough to hang out on my shoulder! BOL

today we are flashing back to 2012 when bailey found lassie's star on the hollywood walk of fame. it was a very exciting day for her so of course she needed a selfie with it. it was a day she'll never forget.

i'm flashing back to 2 weeks ago (new years eve) when bailey was awaiting 2016 to arrive. i didn't get a chance to post this picture earlier but i thought it was so cute because it really looks like she is getting excited for the new year to arrive. you can see the anticipation in her eyes.

i thought it would be nice to turn back time to christmas of 2013 today. last year i found this giant lambchop at homegoods and i just had to buy him for little bailey. she's not really one to play much with toys, but she really did enjoy this one :)
