marble eyes

i sure have missed these big, bright marble eyes and i'm so glad they have returned. everyday bailey is getting better and stronger. she is eating like a little piggy, the haze in her right eye has disappeared, she's full of vim & vigor and her personality has returned. she's even barking at the doorbell!

however, she still has trouble walking and she cannot walk without assistance. we attach a lanyard to her harness and we keep it taut to help her balance. we only have wood floors in our house so we don't do much walking inside but we do a good bit outside on the lawn. she can balance herself to pee but she looses her footing with her poopies. we don't want her falling into her business so we lend her a helping hand. she isn't as much of a bobble head as she used to be but it is still something i will bring up to dr w at our next appointment.

until we meet again my friends, xoxo-

  2. Your little miracle pup looks amazing! Soon she'll be running like a race horse and you'll be chasing her all over. We'll still keep all our paws crossed until that day happens!

  3. She is one strong girl and has a wonderful family! Maybe put down some rugs in the house for her to walk on just until she gets her muscles and balance back?

  10. Ever since our Bailey had her accident I prayed for a Christmas miracle and look at her now, wow! So much to be thankful for.
Lots of love and sweet kisses to you, dear Bailey. Remember you have to be strong to meet the new member to the family, Bee. I understand she will be here very soon.

  11. Hi Bailey - You are looking so good; before you know it Mommy and Daddy won't have to hold you up so you don't fall into your "business"! I am very little and have problems with my legs and paws - I wear non-skid socks and they help. Mommy puts strips of velcro around them to keep them on since I have tiny paws. Keep up the good work!

  12. Such good news. It is so good to see her pretty eyes shining with such awareness. We pray for you often - your improvement is a blessing for us all. It is amazing to me how strong such tiny dogs can be. Bijou is my first Chihuahua and she is a constant source of wonder and joy. We love you Bailey! Keep up the good work!
Love and lots of kisses from us both
