fierce

every time i look at bailey’s little face, i can’t help but smile. knowing where she’s been and how far she’s come, is a testament to her strength and her will to survive. and though she be but little, she is fierce.

i sure have missed these big, bright marble eyes and i'm so glad they have returned. everyday bailey is getting better and stronger. she is eating like a little piggy, the haze in her right eye has disappeared, she's full of vim & vigor and her personality has returned. she's even barking at the doorbell!

however, she still has trouble walking and she cannot walk without assistance. we attach a lanyard to her harness and we keep it taut to help her balance. we only have wood floors in our house so we don't do much walking inside but we do a good bit outside on the lawn. she can balance herself to pee but she looses her footing with her poopies. we don't want her falling into her business so we lend her a helping hand. she isn't as much of a bobble head as she used to be but it is still something i will bring up to dr w at our next appointment.
