"borrowed" pictures

daughter #1 & her husband had a weekend getaway at big bear lake and of course they took aoife with them.

this was aoife's first encounter with snow! they tell me she handled it quite well. it looks like she didn't mind it at all.

you can put aoife anywhere for a picture and she'll stay put.

aoife enjoyed her weekend in the mountains and as you can see the weather was just perfect.

photo credit goes to daughter #1. i have these pictures because i "borrowed" them from her instagram account. shh, don't tell her. BOL

the other day bailey met a very playful little terrier statue. he had a bone in his mouth and by his play bow position, it was apparent he was ready for a game of catch me if you can. not realizing he was a statue, bailey started running around, trying to get him to chase her...

april fools! bailey's leash was actually tangled on the statue and she was trying to get away. with the magic of photoshop, the leash disappears. BOL

don't you just love spring? there are bursts of color everywhere.

the past couple of days have been really windy and on yesterday's walk bailey found a piece of palm tree bark that had blown off of the tree. she was afraid to approach it at first but after she gathered her courage, she thought it was quite interesting.

thanks to ruckus the eskie, love is being owned by a husky & barking from the bayou for hosting thoughtless thursday blog hop.

5 years yesterday

yesterday hubby came home with a beautiful spring bouquet. why? because bailey unleashed had an anniversary. i've been blogging about little bailey for five years.

"cinco años? ay, chihuahua!"

yes, little bailey. i can hardly believe it myself!
