bailey love to take an afternoon siesta on the patio.

but since i limit her time in the sun, as the sun starts to shift, her bed begins to travel across the patio to keep her in the shade.

in the words of john denver, "sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy" and bailey absolutely agrees. our weather is heading towards triple digits but our weekend was quite lovely. i'm glad bailey was able to get some fresh air before it gets really hot because i think she'll be breathing air conditioner air for the rest of the week. BOL

i hope everyone’s mother’s day was fab. we spent the day in temecula and started it off with breakfast on the patio. when i order, i always order something i can share with bailey. usually that means she gets some of my scrambled eggs,

which she really loves (don’t worry, she’s not eating on a restaurant bowl, it’s ours).

time to wash it down with some water.

"ok, i’m fueled up and ready to go. where to now?"

we had a very peaceful morning yesterday. hubby and i had coffee out on the patio, in the company of all the furry and feathered friends that kept coming and going. (look for pics tomorrow.)

bailey also enjoyed her morning.

bailey doesn’t really care to be out in the yard. she knows the yard is her bathroom and not a place to spend more time than is absolutely necessary. but the patio is another story. it’s her favorite place.

wow, this week just flew by. it feels like she just got here!

bailey isn't always color coordinated with my patio but when she is, i see it as a photo op.

finally a day that wasn't in the triple digits! it was so nice, i decided to give bailey a bath and let her air dry on the patio.

she's been stuck inside for a week, she was so happy to be able to sun again.

getting along, outside

we had a nice day yesterday. the sun was shining and the girls had a nice visit on the patio. for some reason, they seem to get long better when they are outside. inside, they are a bit more standoffish.

aoife's not happy with the time change

aoife doesn't like the time change at all. she loves the sunshine, and now with it setting so early, she gets less of it. here she is, trying to get every last minute of sun before it's gone again.

also, her internal clock is normally spot on. she knows exactly when it's meal time and when it's snack time but with the time change, she's been off all week. bailey however, hasn't noticed a thing. have your dogs noticed the time change?
