so what does one do when it's too hot to do anything? how about giving a little doggie a refreshing bath! that sounds about right. then she can air dry in the afternoon sunshine out on the patio! perfecto.

every time i ask bailey if she wants a bath, she always says no. but as soon as she feels the warm water, she quickly changes her tune.

then she gets the massage as i shampoo her. what’s not to love?

with spring, comes spring cleaning, and i'm starting with the dog. BOL

"get me outta here!"

"now this is more like it. ahh sunshine."

"ok, the bath wasn't that bad. i feel fresh as a daisy."

triple digits be gone

finally a day that wasn't in the triple digits! it was so nice, i decided to give bailey a bath and let her air dry on the patio.

she's been stuck inside for a week, she was so happy to be able to sun again.

because the past few days have been so incredibly hot, i thought it would be a perfect day to give bailey a refreshing bath. she didn't agree. BOL

"HELP!"

"is this because of yesterday's raspberry?"

after her bath, and a quick towel dry, she lets the sun do the rest.

"the best part of a bath is when it's over!"

what happens when you fall asleep on a pile of dirt?

you end up in the bath!

why am i allowing bailey to sunbathe when it's in the high 90's?

and she's naked? what's going on!

don't call the authorities! she's in the sun because she had a bath and she doesn't like to be towel dried.

to avoid any conflict, and when it's warm enough, i let her dry off naturally. anyone else have trouble towel drying a wet dog?

she loves to dig in freshly turned soil so whenever we are planting in the yard or doing anything that has to do with fresh soil, aoife will jump in and lend a "helping" hand paw, or two.

rubber duckie

bath day for bailey is fun with giant rubber duckie by her side. haha, not really, but it sounds good right? i bathe bailey in the sink and the duckie would take up all the room. where do you bathe your pup?

her bath was so relaxing, it knocked her right out.

today was bathday for bailey. (ha, reminds me of bedtime for bonzo, but i digress.) she is so tiny that i can bathe her in the sink. she loves when i get the handheld sprayer and hose her down.

after her bath, she gets wrapped up like a burrito :)
