heatwave

if you follow our instagram feed, then you know we've been having some unusually HOT weather the past few days. bailey and i are southern california girls and are somewhat used to the heat, but this is ridiculous.

if you are also experiencing some crazy heat, try to not exert yourself, stay indoors and stay hydrated!

sizzling temperatures

we're supposed to have triple digits temps for the next few days but look at bailey just a couple of days ago. she had to wear her fleece lined harness on our walk because it was so chilly.

ok, bailey says it's time to go but before we do, i would be remiss if i didn't speak a bit more on the sizzling temperatures.
-if you are in heatwave, as we are here in so cal, please make sure your dog always has plenty of fresh drinking water.
-pay attention to the time of day you go on your walk. don't forget the asphalt gets really hot for your barefoot dog.
-and of course, NEVER leave your dog in a parked car.
