the before: linen closet with floor to ceiling doors (blah)

we removed the bottom doors and the side trim and you can already see the transformation taking shape

a built-in shelf has magically appeared!

hubby trimmed the doors to cover only the bottom two shelves

bailey sees that things are under control so she decides to take a break

bailey is so happy the sun is still shining and the cold is gone. shh, the weatherman said rain will be back for the weekend, but let's not tell bailey quite yet.

on another note, i was surfing around for linen closet ideas and i found this little gem. someone turned the bottom drawers of their linen closet into a doggie house! i don't think bailey would use it, as she is pretty much a velcro dog and has to be with me at all times, but it sure is a cute idea!
