shenanigans

i think bailey was trying to get even with me for making her wear her christmas tree hat.

but her shenanigans didn't dissuade me . . .

i'm patient . . .

and after she had her fun, i got the shot i wanted.

to deck the halls with boughs of holly, to hang the stockings by the chimney with care and to put funny festive hats on our dogs. BOL

oh little bailey, can you look any cuter?

notice how she's tipping her head just enough for the hat to block the sun from her marble eyes!

the chin strap on this hat was huge so i stitched it shorter but in this shot it looks like i need to take it in even more!

when aoife saw that i was giving treats just for wearing a hat, she said that she could wear a hat, and that she could do it quicker and better than bailey. so i let her wear it and yes, she was right. i got a much quicker shot of her. but it looks like she's balancing that orange flower pot on her head! BOL

"anything bailey can do, i can do better!"

and to sit so still while i took picture after picture...

and then all of a sudden,
(here comes the mischief part)...

no more hat!
