furry friend friday

the strangest thing happened yesterday. when i went out to check the mail, i saw a cute little squirrel on our front lawn, so of course i started talking to her. then guess what. she started walking towards me. all the way up to me! she just stared at me, so i went inside to get her some walnuts. when i came back, she was still there waiting for me! i was holding bailey so i just dropped them on the ground and she happily gobbled them up.

"got nuts?"

and as i sat off to the side with bailey, he did this:
