she looks at the yarn blocking her path from getting to me.
then she looks at me for help. this is typical bailey. she is afraid to go under it, she can't jump over it and there’s no way she would just push through, so she just stands there, helpless.

ReplyDeleteI understand the yarn barrier between you and your mama, B. Once I couldn't get outside because I was afraid to walk past the fire extinguisher in the hallway at our new apartment. Mom carried me past it and said I was a weirdo.
