product review: nutramax cosequin maximum strength #ChewyInfluencer

aoife is 11+ years old but don't tell her that! she still thinks she's a puppy. she runs and plays and jumps like pups a fraction of her age. but her body is aging, whether she knows it or not. we've noticed a bit of arthritis setting in and it takes her a little longer to get up so she has been taking cosequin minis for a while now. they do seem to be helping her so when the good people at chewy offered nutramax cosequin maximum strength (ds) plus msm soft chews joint health dog supplement, i jumped at the chance to give these a try.

luckily aoife was visiting the weekend that the chewy box arrived.

these are larger and thicker than the minis but that's not a problem for aoife at all. because the minis are made for pipsqueaks like bailey, aoife's vet said to double the dosage. since these are maximum strength, she'll be getting half a chew per dose.

from their website:
Cosequin DS Plus MSM & Omega-3s contains FCHG49® Glucosamine Hydrochloride†, TRH122® Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate†, and MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane). This combination of ingredients helps to protect your dog's joints and support healthy cartilage matrix production. Each soft chew also contain omega-3 fatty acids to help support skin & coat health.

aoife loves her cosequin and gives them bailey's pink paw seal of approval.

disclaimer: i received this item free of charge from chewy.com in an exchange for my honest review.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. We all started taking supplements at a younger age because Mom learned how important it it with Katie. Glad she is doing so well at 11.
