this month we chose to review primal jerky organic chicken nibs dog & cat treats. the ingredient list is short and sweet: organic chicken, organic honey & sea salt.
as you can see, bailey thinks these treats are delicious. they are tiny enough that i don't have to cut them for her and they are chewy so they are easy for her to chew!
since there are no preservatives, the package recommends storing the package in the refrigerator. there it will stay fresh 14 days. if you leave it in a cabinet or on your counter, it should be fed within 3 days. either way, it's not much time. there is no way bailey would be able to finish the package in 2 weeks on her own. luckily we will have aoife & bee here for the holidays. i think between the 3 girls, they should almost finish the package in the recommended 14 days. i would love to buy these for bailey but the 4oz package is too big for her. i wish they made a smaller size for the tiny breed dogs. maybe instead of 4oz all in one package, separate it into four 1oz packages. that would work for us.
in a nutshell:
made with certified organic chicken raised in the united states
no antibiotics or added hormones
single source protein
no preservatives, grain or gluten
btw: chewy.com provided us with the package of treats in exchange for our honest opinion of the product. the opinion stated in this review was written by me and was not copy supplied by primal or chewy.
until we meet again my friends-
we would scarf that whole packet in one breath if given the chance :)ReplyDelete
We have tried these and they are delicious!ReplyDelete
They are good, but the problem is using them fast enough and we aren't too into treats we have to keep in the fridge because we forget about them.ReplyDelete
Ohhh, those look scrumptious! Great review!!ReplyDelete
The perfect size Ms. BaileyReplyDelete

These look perfect to put in Haley's treat ball toy and I love that they're healthy too. I love all these new products that are high quality!ReplyDelete
Sea salt, honey and chicken: it don't come much better than thatReplyDelete
Our dog, Gwen, would eat them all in one swallow if we let her. She is a treat monster and gets them daily after she finishes her lunch.ReplyDelete
The Boys dig Primal treats too, I love it because of the limited, simple ingredients. Looks like it's a favorite with you too! Merry Christmas my friend!ReplyDelete
