my grand doggie is a conehead

my poor grand doggie thought she was coming to california for a relaxing christmas holiday. little did she know what daughter #2 had in store for her. she had an appointment with our wonderful dr w to get spayed. we really wouldn't trust any other vet to cut into our doggies. {shame on her previous owner for never taking care of this.}

daughter #2 had also noticed a lump near bee's nether regions and brought it to her previous owners attention some time ago but she never did anything about it. when dr w had a look at her, he said it was a hernia! {ugh! some people just shouldn't have a dog.} since bee was getting spayed, dr w also took care of her hernia. her recuperation time doubled with the second surgery, but she'll be able to go back to new york without a worry.

just a thought: if you aren't going to be a responsible pet owner, please don't get a pet.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. We thought you were wearing a come in honor of Bailey, BOL. I wonder if a tiny donut/thin would help keep Baileys head from moving around?

  3. That's great the good vet could do both the hernia and the spay at the same time. Get better soon.

  4. So right. Some people want that cute puppy, but when they learn that there is work involved, they want to get rid of the poor pup. I just don't understand how people could be so stupid and heartless. At least Bee got a great second owner.

  7. I am so sorry that you have to go through this little Bee, but it had to be done. Your new owner, dgt. #2 is really taking good care of you.
