bailey & the lizard

oh my goodness, bailey's mischief making shenanigans were like none i've ever seen before when she came face to face ...
with a lizard!

i'm not sure if she wanted to play with it or devour it. i've never seen her so focused on something for so long. (she can be a little scatterbrained at times.) there wasn't much reaction from the lizard. i think the poor little guy just wanted to sleep because night was falling and the weather was cooling down.

later that night when she went out to do her "business" she remembered about the lizard and went to look for him in the sprinkler where he was hiding. of course he was long gone and probably sound asleep under a rock somewhere. she gave the yard a good once-over, and when she was satisfied that he was gone, she came back inside.

thanks to alfie's blog, my brown newfies & snoopy's dog blog for hosting monday mischief blog hop.

disclaimer: the lizard was not harmed during the filming of this video.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. She's apprehensive but quite brave. My dog won't even get that close to a small garter snake lol. I love that she went to check for it later :) I don't think we have lizards like that around here, it sure moved quickly.

  5. Isn't it wonderful to watch our little ones when they have new experiences? Especially fun ones like this, Oh mighty hunter. Now Eeff isn't the only one to protect your home from critters

  6. You can never trust those lizards. They are probably up to no good--like squirrels--and must be investigated.

  7. I'm not sure if you made a new friend or if the lizard should be considered a trespasser on your turf. Love Dolly
