of course bailey was the smallest dog at the expo and i think this guy must have been the biggest!
taking a picture with a great dane was probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and bailey wouldn't stay still. this is the best picture i could get. bailey's never seen another dog as big as this guy and she was very fidgety. hence, the blurry bailey.

Wow, what a difference. Bailey probably thought he was going to step on her :)

That's what we in Oklahoma call a "Big'n". I have a feeling Bailey could take him in a fight. As a woman with "short person" syndrome, I have had my share of Big'n's back down with a good stare!
ReplyDeleteI can see why Bailey would be concerned. :)
ReplyDeleteToo cute though. But that is a lot of dog to be next to.

I have a photo of Mr. N with a Great Dane too!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit scared of Great Danes, and I am 40lbs, so I can see her fear!

Don't feel bad Bailey - I went to the Anti Cruelty walk last year and did the same picture taking next to a great dane... well, I kept walking away - he was so big and all (I thought he was going to step on me). But really, he was a gentle giant. :)
ReplyDeleteThe long and short of the story.
