sepia saturday: tethered to a hydrant
tethered to a hydrant,
i cannot walk away;
tethered to a hydrant,
i cannot even play.
tethered to a hydrant,
and people walking by;
tethered to a hydrant,
don't they wonder why?
tethered to a hydrant,
and left here all alone;
tethered to a hydrant,
won't you take me home?
(inspired by mani the staffordshire terrier.) please don't chain your dogs!
thanks to ruckus for hosting the sepia saturday blog hop!
until we meet again my friends-

Hi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteAwww...that's so sad...
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
A poignant tribute, Bailey. I would hate for any doggie to be chained up.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sepia Saturday,

Poor little guy! That hydrant looks enormous next to him!
ReplyDeleteThat is sad.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sepia Saturday! Thanks for linking up! I just realized how tiny you are when compared to a hydrant! HAHAH Love this sepia pic
