to delete or not to delete

that is the question i ask myself when i get a picture that i'm not totally in love with. as is the case with this picture. bailey was sitting next to a window and i liked how her profile looked, so i took her picture. this is the untouched, original photo. yuk!

it didn't turn out how i thought it would and i almost deleted it. then i started playing around with it in photoshop to try and fix it. i tried playing with the exposure, with the color, then i tried adding a filter and boo-yah. a photo that would have ended up "on the cutting room floor" ended up with an entire post dedicated to it's resurrection.

three's company

we had quite the full house for christmas, and we loved it.

even though there were 6 people here, all the dogs chose to be with hubby. he's a dog magnet! BOL

bee

it was so much fun having bee here for the holidays and i think she enjoyed her visit as well. she absolutely loved our sunny backyard. isn't she a cutie?

we have dog beds in every room of our house but where did she choose to cuddle up for a nap? on top of my new christmas pillow!

her favorite pastime was to sit on the chair and look out the window, which is something she can't do living on the 27th floor in a nyc apartment.
when daughter #2's stint in new york is over, i think bee would enjoy being a california dog.

we had wonderful weather for the holidays and the doggies were enjoying every minute of it.

you know it's nice weather if bailey's not dressed! BOL

of course aoife was here, (with daughter #1 from san diego),

and bee came all the way from new york (with daughter #2)!

there was a little tension between the grand dogs, but nothing we couldn't handle. they had only met once before and that was a year ago, so it was understandable.
