{this moment} see beautiful

these are some random sites i saw while in new york visiting daughter #2. even though the first two are memorials, they are beautiful reminders of the beautiful lives that were taken too soon.

"imagine" the memorial to john lennon:
this was much larger than i expected it to be. i wish i could have gotten a full picture but there were too many tourists standing around, trying to get a picture.

one of the memorial pools:
wow. just, wow.

the freedom tower:
new york rebuilds and goes on.

"life underground":
there are lots of funny little statues scattered throughout the 14th street subway station. this sewer alligator was my favorite.

washington square arch:
modeled after the arc de triomphe in paris.

and most importantly, bailey:
even when she gets too close to the camera.
