coffee w/ bailey: crema

another quaint little coffee shop daughter #1 took us to, while in the peninsula, was crema espresso and wine bar. yep, you read that right; a coffee and wine bar. the building is an old multi-level victorian with tons of charm. there are three indoor rooms plus a small outdoor patio for your seating pleasure. they handcraft each drink and they offer free wi-fi.

as you can see, it was a bright and sunny morning.

sorry, my daughters grew up in the 80's and this song just popped in my head. anyone recognize it?

the mischief happened because aoife had claimed this area as her own. so when guests would exit through the patio area, aoife would express her displeasure at the trespassers by barking at them. how dare strangers invade her personal space!

the day has barely begun and bailey is already pooped. she's been such a trooper on this trip. we've really put her (& aoife) through their paces and they just chug right along side of us. rest up sweetie, we've got another full day ahead of us.

chihuahua pride day 2013

last saturday we attended the 3rd annual chihuahua pride day in pacific grove. we just happened to be in town visiting daughter #1, so we were able to take part in their event.

we were one of the first 100 people through the door, so we got a free goodie bag! bailey was quite excited about that.

they were selling chihuahua pride day totes, so i had to get one! proceeds from the tote sales will go to the lucky fund, a spay/neuter voucher program for chihuahua and chi-mix guardians who need help getting their dog "fixed." i believe you can still purchase these totes via mail order. check their facebook page to be sure.
