dog park closed

our cold weather is gone (for now) and the sun was shining so we decided to go to the dog park and guess what? it closed for maintenance. so now what?!

not to worry, the dog park is adjacent to an equestrian center so there are acres of land to explore.

bailey had lots and lots of new areas to investigate and many new scents to smell.

there was even a jungle jim that she could play on.

there was so much to see and do, bailey was pooped at the end of our visit.

more new friends

on friday's visit to the dog park, more friends were made.
the dog that looks like a miniature husky was actually a 19 year old chihuahua mix! she hobbles along with her arthritis and can hardly see with her cataracts, but she's a trooper and still comes to the dog park with her person.

the spotted dog is buchi, a chihuahua/jack russell mix. she was just a puppy but bailey was still smaller. she was a bundle of energy. bailey & aoife didn't really know what to make of her because she never stopped running! i tried to get a picture of her cute face but she never stayed still long enough for me to get it.
there were even a few horses that strolled by on the horse trail that goes right by the dog park.
