the big one-oh

saturday was a big day for us here at casa chihuahua. it was bailey's gotcha day! we can hardly believe it's been 10 years that we rescued little bailey. she has brought so much happiness to our home. it's amazing how such a little dog can have such a big impact on our lives. she is our everything.

gotcha day (9 years)

this year, bailey's gotcha day has landed on thanksgiving, giving us yet another reason to be extra thankful today. even though she’s been to hell and back, you’d never know it to look at her.

when we rescued her, 9 years ago, she was so small and frail. well, she’s still small, but believe it or not she was even smaller! looking at her now, it’s hard to believe she’s the same dog.

7 years and counting

it's bailey's gotcha day!!!
the day we rescued little bailey is etched in my mind as if it were yesterday. the feeling we had when we first saw her was undeniable. we instantly knew that we had to bring this little girl home with us. she has brought such joy into our lives. {and some heartache too, but let's not dwell on that.} today is a day of celebration because we have been bailey's pawrents for seven fantastic years. and counting.
