product review: nutramax cosequin maximum strength #ChewyInfluencer

aoife is 11+ years old but don't tell her that! she still thinks she's a puppy. she runs and plays and jumps like pups a fraction of her age. but her body is aging, whether she knows it or not. we've noticed a bit of arthritis setting in and it takes her a little longer to get up so she has been taking cosequin minis for a while now. they do seem to be helping her so when the good people at chewy offered nutramax cosequin maximum strength (ds) plus msm soft chews joint health dog supplement, i jumped at the chance to give these a try.

luckily aoife was visiting the weekend that the chewy box arrived.

these are larger and thicker than the minis but that's not a problem for aoife at all. because the minis are made for pipsqueaks like bailey, aoife's vet said to double the dosage. since these are maximum strength, she'll be getting half a chew per dose.

from their website:
Cosequin DS Plus MSM & Omega-3s contains FCHG49® Glucosamine Hydrochloride†, TRH122® Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate†, and MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane). This combination of ingredients helps to protect your dog's joints and support healthy cartilage matrix production. Each soft chew also contain omega-3 fatty acids to help support skin & coat health.

aoife loves her cosequin and gives them bailey's pink paw seal of approval.

disclaimer: i received this item free of charge from chewy.com in an exchange for my honest review.

product review: cosequin joint health supplements

aoife is a healthy 10 year old but we've been noticing early signs of arthritis and stiff joints so i was happy to see cosequin joint health supplements show up on last month's offerings from chewy.

the mini chews are formulated for dogs up to 25 pounds and provide mobility, cartilage and joint health support.

aoife doesn't know that each chew contains 260mg of glucosamine and 130mg of chondroitin,

all she knows is that they are yummy. it's still a bit early to notice if they are making a difference or not but we will be keeping a close eye on her.

btw: chewy.com provided us with the package of chews in exchange for our honest opinion of the product. the opinion stated in this review was written by me and was not copy supplied by nutramax or chewy.

thanks to kol's notes & sugar for hosting tasty tuesday blog hop.
