say’s phoebe #WildlifeWednesday

i usually share wildlife that i see in our backyard but today, i am sharing what i saw in our front yard. this pretty little say’s phoebe has been hanging around our home lately and now i know why.

look, she has nesting in her beak! aww, we’re gonna have babies.

the other day i was at our front window, trying to get a video of the migrating painted ladies that were flying over our home, when she kept flying back and forth, back and forth, right in front of me.

oh, she saw me!

isn’t she cute?

and where do you suppose she was making her nest? on top of our front porch light! so, what does that mean for us? well, because we don’t want to disturb her, we will not be using our front door until the babies have left the nest.

until we meet again my friends-

  1. Oh, I love it...but where is the father? Very smart of her, the light at night keeps them all warm. So sweet.
