we were going through some boxes in the garage the other day when i came across my tiny thumbelina! i've had this doll ever since i was a little girl. i packed her 7 years ago when we moved to our new home and she's been there ever since. (yes, i still have things packed in the garage that never made it into our home. lol) but how could i have forgotten about her? well, i have no idea how that happened. i'm just glad i found her and she's back inside, where she belongs. she is now proudly seated on the bed in our guest room.
until we meet again my friends-
OMG I HAD HER TOO! I bet most of your readers won't even remember that doll. Didn't she have a key in the back that made her move? My brother pulled the key out lol
ReplyDeleteYES! she has a round knob, that when wound, makes her head move like a "real" baby.

Memories. Mom still has her matted hair Thumbelina. She loved her

What a great find.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how could you have forgotten her, poor Thumbelina, she was probably wondering why she was in a box in the garage all this time. She must be so happy to be inside with Bailey and reunited with her mommy.
ReplyDeleteMy mom has a Thumbelina doll too but hers is blonde. She still has the name bracelet and moves when you pull her string. Mom just can't part with her dolls.
ReplyDeleteCan a dog get any sweeter looking , even next to Thumbelina . I remember when I was quite young I had one of those dolls ~ oh the nostalgia.
