good morning sunshine

every morning when i put bailey out to do her business, instead of going to the lawn, she goes straight to her cot. she loves to lay (or is it lie) there and soak in the morning sunshine. you'd think her tiny bladder would be bursting from a long night's sleep, but she doesn't seem to care. i know she's gonna be there at least 1/2 hour so i usually take my ipad and a cup of coffee out there with me.

yes, i stay out there with her. we've had coyote sightings on our street recently and we also have hawks flying around. i know they're all looking for their next meal and it's not gonna be bailey!

until we meet again my friends-

  1. I loves to sit in the sun too, Bailey. It just makes me feel good all over. I have a favorite spot near the roses but on the concrete. Ahhhh!

  3. She is loving that. That is so frightening about the coyotes and hawks, I don't blame you for keeping your eye on her.

  4. Just let her lie there 'till she's ready, as long as she doesn't do her business on the cot

  5. Katie and I are in no rush to get out to use the restroom in the morning either, but Bailie can't get out soon enough. I love lying on my cot in the sunshine on the deck too.

  6. That looks like such a comfy cot. I don't blame Bailey for lounging on it every morning. I love how there's a garden gnome watching Bailey relax!

  9. I understand about you wanting to be out with her. As we have had a fox come right up to the front sidewalk to try and get a "chicken dinner", I am the same way with Sophia and Niko.
