it's the most wonderful time of the year

watching the desert carolers perform makes bailey very happy. she remembers her first outing, after her accident last year, was to go see them. we will always associate them with our little christmas miracle.

i don't know what happened to bailey in this next picture. i think she fell asleep! BOL (btw, that's my beautiful daughter #1 holding her.)

santa was so cute. he was even singing along with the carolers.

is bailey on santa's naughty list?

the other night when we went to see the desert carolers perform, guess who else we saw? ...
SANTA!

and guess who else? ...
MRS SANTA!!!
but bailey did a little mischief with her. when mrs santa went to pet bailey on her head, well, bailey kinda snapped at her! oh dear. they made up afterwards, but i hope that didn't put bailey on santa's naughty list.

half an outfit is better than no outfit at all

this is only part of bailey's outfit. it also has a hat and more cuffs for her back legs. i'm still trying to get her to wear all pieces at once but she's not too happy with the idea of wearing a hat. for now, she is happy to sit with sam the snowman and santa in half her outfit.

you can't beat a good candid shot. i could never have planned and executed this pose. sometimes distraction can be your best friend :)

santa claus is coming to town

santa found time in his busy schedule to visit one of our local dog parks this past weekend. i wasn't sure how the doggies were going to react with this jolly old elf but they were both surprisingly good.

looks like santa took a liking to bailey :)

aoife was a little nervous but i think we still got a good pic out of it.

bailey's new coat

i found this adorable coat at homegoods. isn't it cute? the detailing is really nice with the toggle buttons and the satiny lining. only one problem- there is no place to hook her leash! i never attach her leash to her collar, so i wish the coat had a d-ring sewn to the back so she could wear it on our walks on these cooler days. oh well.

looks like bailey is having quite a chat with santa!

bailey: "i just asked santa if he could find homes for all the homeless pets!"
