pupcake surprise

hubby surprised bailey with a pupcake this weekend.

she hasn't had one in a while, so she wasn't too sure about it.

when she realized what it was...

"is this what i think it is?"

she went for it!

"mmm, thank you daddy! nom nom nom"

since bailey has been having so much trouble with her diet, we thought she deserved a treat, so we got her a pupcake.

"mmm"

i cut it in half and broke it to bits for her.

"nom nom nom"

"that was delicious!"

"more?"

of course she loved it, but more importantly, she didn’t throw it up! it was a win, win!

bailey's such a good girl, i decided to gift her with a surprise doggie pupcake. she doesn't get them that often. her last one was january 2014! this was her reaction.

"for me?"

"thank you, Lord, for the food i am about to receive, amen *slurp*"

"mmm, it passes the sniff test"

"hmm, tasty."

"yes, very tasty indeed!"

chomp!

the little piggy would have finished the whole thing if i hadn't take it away at the half way point. oink!

on our way to see daughter #1, we just happen to be in the vicinity of frosted cupcakery! well we couldn't be so close and not stop in for some guilty pleasures.

hubby likes chocolate/coconut, my favorite is lemon and the pupcake is for bailey! i won't show how we devoured our cupcakes, but i will share bailey. i could barely get one shot in before she went in for the kill!

the trick was getting her to wait for her treat!
